Amara Lanka is an inbound tour company, which promotes cheap Sri Lanka Holiday Packages, situated very much closer to Colombo which is the capital city of Sri Lanka. Mr. Shantha Amarakoon the present Chairman / Managing and Founder of Amara Lanka Tours is a well experienced Accountant cum Management Consultant whose experience runs up to few decades covering finance, administration and human resources. The very last employment of Mr. Shantha Amarakoon was in the capacity of CEO of a group of companies in the hospitality trade.

We commenced operations as a Company which is selling Sri Lanka Holiday Packages in year 2010 as a sole proprietor business under the name of Amara Lanka Tours and incorporated in year 2012 under the companies act. (Company Registration no. PV 84866) Now Amara Lanka Tours is a Limited Liability Company which is a family business and currently working with most of the markets with an unblemished record.
The company consists of 4 directors and out of 4 directors connected to the company 2 are active directors.
Mr. Shantha Amarakoon – Manage the business leading the full team and head the teams of finance, administration and human resources.
Mr. Asaka Amarakoon (Degree holder in marketing & management – University of Wales London) – head the teams of marketing and operations
Other 2 are dormant directors. However they both help the company whenever necessary.
